I’m Yuanzhi Zhu and I’m a PhD student at École Polytechnique, supervised by Prof. Vicky Kalogeiton and Prof. Stéphane Lathuilière. Previously I was a Master's student at ETH Zürich, where I have the privilege of being supervised by Prof. Kai Zhang. I also have the privilege of working as a RA with Prof. Qiang Liu and interned with Hanshu Yan during my master's.

Scalable generative models (AR, diffusion, etc.) aim to capture data distributions by decomposing likelihoods, inherently requiring multi-step inference. The goal of efficient generative modeling is to uncover principles that enable high-quality generation with minimal steps.
